The works to the corridor are almost complete. Things are looking nice with lowered ceilings, LED lighting, new fire door and re plastered walls. New carpeting arriving any day.

Available from the hall box office is a new booklet called “The History of Beccles Public Hall”. Covering 1785 – 2017 and researched by Beccles U3A. The booklet contains over 30 pages and includes photographs. Grab your copy now for only £2
Not much happening at the moment concerning renovations. We hope to start a new project at the hall in August.

Arches uncovered during renovation work at Beccles Public Hall. The Back stage area (behind the proscenium) was actually a room before the stage area was added. We are looking for volunteers again to save over £20,000 in preparing the stage and walls for the builders to move in and install a sprung floor and new walls.
